ACS' acquisition of Anix, an IT services and infrastructure solutions provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Xploite plc, is expected to close prior to June 30, 2009.

Anix delivers full service IT infrastructure and related solutions, from initial consultancy, analysis and design to fully outsourced hosted or remote managed services, support and training to commercial and public sector clients. Anix has operations in Bristol, London and Manchester, and data centers in London and Manchester.

"By combining with ACS, Anix' clients will be backed by a FORTUNE 500 company with global delivery capabilities and an extensive, complementary suite of ITO services."
For its fiscal year ending October 31, 2008, Anix had revenues of approximately $71 million (44.7 million pounds). It is anticipated the business will be consolidated with ACS' current ITO operations in the United Kingdom, and will add more than 150 employees.
In the past year and a half, ACS has expanded its European ITO presence with the acquisitions of Syan Holdings in the U.K. and sds business services GmbH in Germany.
