In this project Stinnes-data-Service is not only providing the management but is also participating in customizing the SEM BCS for consolidating, the BPS for planning and the BW for reporting. In addition, we operate the systems (SAP basis).

The targets of the HERO project are:

• Reportability in accordance with IFRS/IAS for actual and budget data
• Increase in transparency through uniform data base for accounting and controlling
• Guaranteeing capital market-oriented reporting
• Integration and harmonization of the requirements from DB AG, Stinnes and Schenker

The content implications of the conversion to IAS/IFRS and of the harmonization of internal and external reporting are dealt with in the activities of the project area "Contents". In the scope of these activities the Component Evaluation Workshops are carried out, the group IAS directive is drawn up and the contents requirements for the group accounting and controlling systems are defined. Together with the contents requirements, it is planned to include the requirements for the group accounting system and controlling processes for actual balances and budgeting in the project area "Processes". The preparations for the conversion of the Schenker SAP companies' accounting systems to an IAS master and for the other non-SAP companies are taking place parallel to this. The activities are planned in the project area "IAS Schenker".
